About us....

The Taiwan Academy of Forensic Sciences began in September, 2002, is a professional membership organization studying the application of science to the resolution and legal issues.  It is also an educational, scientific, and professional academy.

The Taiwan Academy of Forensic Sciences actively promotes the dissemination of forensic science information. The purpose of this organization is to continue providing the advancement of consultation across the many professional fields of our membership, and serving the information and knowledge through seminars, conferences, and workshops.

The overall objectives of the Taiwan Academy of Forensic Sciences are:

   To promote the knowledge and education concerning all disciplines in the forensic sciences;

    To develop new ways to improve the quality of the forensic sciences;

    To insured the quality of the justice system. 

The tasks of the organization are:

    To advance the authentication system of the forensic sciences;

    To develop and conduct education and training programs in the forensic sciences;

 To promote the domestic and international academic exchange in forensic sciences;

    To publish the journals of the forensic sciences;

    To investigate and develop the technology of professionals in the field;

    To provide the professional consultation in fields relating to the forensic sciences.
